Meet Kevin

Kevin has lived in the village of Alfold for 25 years.

He started his police career in 1980, working as a beat officer at Egham. Over 30 years Kevin rose through the ranks to Chief Superintendent in charge of policing the West  Surrey division (the boroughs of Guildford and Waverley), retiring as a Detective Chief Superintendent investigating serious crimes.

Following his retirement, Kevin became a parish councillor at Alfold, and in 2015 was elected as the Borough Councillor for Alfold, Cranleigh Rural and Ellen’s Green. He has been a member of the Executive Council, holding portfolio responsibilities for Community Safety, Health and Well-being, and operational planning and enforcement.

In his spare time Kevin enjoys watching local sport. He is an active member of Alfold Football Club, watching them whenever possible. He has been the chairman of the Alfold Sports and Social club for the past 10 years, a community hub which provides a variety of social and sporting  events throughout the year.

Kevin is running alongside Charlie as her Deputy PCC candidate for Surrey.
